Microsoft Advertising occasionally runs promotional offers. These special
offers, such as a new user coupon, can be used to redeem credit that gets
applied to your Microsoft Advertising account. You will find most coupon
offers are what’s called performance based coupons, there is a spend to get
qualifier, this means a certain amount of funds must be spent before the
coupon is activated, the full offer details can be found HERE.
Below is information on how to redeem your offer and track its status.
Before you begin
You must have a primary payment method added to your account within 30 days
of account creation.
Ensure your advertising content is within Microsoft Advertising’s policies.
Note: that after a promotional offer has expired or runs out, your ads will
continue to run, and we'll charge your primary payment method (postpay
account) or deduct funds (prepay account). If you have a prepay account and
no funds are available, we'll pause the account.
Where to enter your promotional code
Click Tools from the global menu, and then click Billing & Payments.
If you have multiple accounts, choose one from the account selector in the
global menu at the top of the page.
Click Billing summary from the main menu.
In the section called What you are paying with, click View promotional
offers.
Click Add promotional code, enter the promotional code, and then click Save.
After you add a promotional code, you will get a notification that the code
was successfully added and you will receive a confirmation email. This may
take up to 5 to 10 minutes.

Check your progress
You'll be able to quickly check your progress and the status of any credit,
and see your completed or expired promotions. Here's how to get there:
Click Tools from the global menu, and then click Billing & Payments.
If you have multiple accounts, choose one from the account selector in the
global menu at the top of the page.
Click Billing summary from the main menu.
In the section called What you are paying with, click View promotional
offers.
An offer can have one of the following of statuses:
· Active: Your promotional offer is successfully redeemed. You can't have
two active offers at one time.
· Expired: The offer has expired and is no longer valid.
· Depleted: You have exhausted your promotional credit.
· Needs payment method: You must have a payment method on file to redeem a
promotional offer. For a limited-time offer, you'll see this status along
with the cutoff date to add a payment method. The status will switch to
"Active" once you add a valid payment method.
· Pending: If you have two valid offers, one offer will be pending (on hold)
while the other is active. After the active offer is expired or depleted,
the pending offer will become active.

of the terms one of your customers might use to search for your products and
