You can use your existing or smart
TV's to make Skype video calls . . . Here are three configurations:
A - For Sony Smart TV's you need:

Sony TVs: i.e. Model
number: CMU-BR100 - Use ythis webcam to make audio calls, too.
It comes with a special microphone system that’s designed to pick up

A fast broadband internet connection. Broadband speed of at least 2.5 Mbps recommended (10 Mbps
for HD).
Note - not all features of current Skype
Windows 7 versions are available on the Skype enabled TV's.
B - For Sony Blu Ray Players & your existing TV you need -
Sony Blu Ray Model number BDP-S780 - MSRP: $249
Built-in Skype capability for the Sony Blu Ray
Model number BDP-S780 makes it easy to see eye-to-eye all
over the globe with internet voice and video calls. Simply add a
compatible microphone/camera (Model number: CMU-BR100
sold separately) to make
Skype-to-Skype video calls or Skype-to-phone calls
- through your TV.
